GQD - Giant Quick Disconnect
- The GQD is a 2" diameter 6061-T6 CNC
machined nickel plated aluminum (Stainless
available at extra charge) BAYONET type quick
disconnect. Used at the base of the mobile
antenna for QUICK removal and stowage, it gets
your expensive investment out of site. Also
perfect for moving the mobile antenna from car
to car, or from car to base. It has on the lower
base a 3/8-24 threaded hole and the top part has
a 3/8-24 stainless steel stud for the antenna.
Uses a heavy-duty spring, with approximately 60
lb of force needed to remove. The GQD should
work for any HF Mobile antenna base using a
3/8-24 connector.

WQD - Whip Quick Disconnect
- The WQD is CNC machined of NAVY brass,
silver plated, with a 3 turn thread and ZERO
tolerance when locked in place. Positive
interconnect -- No slack or looseness when in
motion. Male (bottom) part has a 3/8-24
stainless steel stud to fit in the top of ANY HF
Mobile antenna. The female (top) part has the
standard 3/8-24 threaded hole for the whip. The
WQD is $30.00 plus shipping and handling. Extra
